  It took a four hour drive from Beijing, but I managed to photograph the Great Wall at Jinshanling in China without any (Chinese) tourists in view.   My dearest friend reached the respectable age of 98 years (which is 14 in human years). She's blind in one eye (a cat did that years ago), deaf as a doorknob and recently had surgery, but in spirit and wet-nose she's still 100%. Pictured with my Hasselblad while posing on the couch.
